About the Client
Claria came to us with an established business and a new name - and needed a complete brand identity and website to go with it. As a technology company, they work with a huge range of clients, providing integrations, data governance and digital security solutions. Working with complex systems and sensitive data, Claria needed branding that built trust, and showcased their transparency and meticulous mindset.

The Challenge
Claria work on projects that often involve a combination of complex systems, technology and terminology. We needed to develop a brand that cut through those complexities and delivered a clear and professional identity that worked across different media, including digital and print.

A modern identity built for clarity
Claria needed a brand that felt modern and trusted, so we started with a logo that could set the tone for everything else. We took the C of Claria and shaped it into a clean, structured icon, using overlapping colours to reflect how different elements come together within their service. It works on its own as a mark, and adapts nicely across light and dark backgrounds.
To support it, we chose Lexend for headings and Open Sans for body copy. Together they give a clear, high tech feel while staying easy to read on screen. The colour palette followed the same approach. We moved away from a flat all-blue option and chose three core colours, then expanded them with subtle pastels and brighter accents.
This gave us enough flexibility to create strong calls to action, confident visuals and calm backgrounds, all while keeping a professional, unified look for the website.

Design flourishes
Claria needed a clean, clear design - but too clean can make a website look flat and uninteresting.
So we incorporated subtle design flourishes that lift the design and make it more engaging, without becoming a distraction. These elements are focused around hexagonal shapes - representing nodes and calling back to themes of connectivity and integration.
Each section of the website was crafted to balance clarity and engagement, revealing subtle yet significant visuals that complement each other and highlight key content.
Ebook design
As well as the website, Claria produce a range of ebooks which also required branding design.
Again the key here was to provide design that creates interest and engagement, without overshadowing or complicating the content being presented.
We made use of our hexagon elements to bring subtle interest to text, designed feature pages with pastel backgrounds to break up sections, and bright, impactful front and final pages to catch the eye.

The outcomes
Claria now have an iconic, powerful brand and assets that can be used across multiple media channels.
From their fast, UX-driven website, to digital ebooks, to physical banners for exhibitions and events, the new Claria brand inspires trust, authority and high tech professionalism, giving them all the tools they need to promote, network and connect with their clients.

Head of Marketing
Working with Edge of the Web has been a genuinely collaborative and rewarding experience. From the outset they took the time to understand our audience and goals.
Their team translated this into a clear and confident digital presence that reflects both our expertise and our ambition. The process felt smooth and well considered throughout, and communication was always timely and transparent. What stood out most was their willingness to challenge assumptions in a constructive way and guide us towards choices that created real value.
The finished website supports our sales conversations, presents our product with clarity, and gives us a foundation we can build on. Edge of the Web’s mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and technical skill made them an ideal partner for this project, and we are delighted with the outcome.
